Charton Properties was founded by Laura and Maxime Charton with a clear vision: to offer a more personal, more selective and more strategic approach to real estate in Mauritius.
Before advising their clients, they made the choice to settle on the island themselves.
Like many of their clients, they had to choose the right region, understand the market, organise their move and build a new life. This experience allows them to understand what really lies behind an international real estate decision.
Because buying a property almost never concerns the property alone. It can represent a new start, a second home, a lifestyle choice, a long-term investment — or a combination of these projects.
Entrepreneurs in France, we developed a strong culture of service, negotiation, client relationships and long-term thinking.
Through our experience of the island and our work on the Mauritian real estate market, we identified the need for a different kind of agency: an independent structure combining local knowledge, international standards and personalised attention.
